Complaint What Happened	XXXX XXXX balance in full XXXX Settlement Amount I called in this afternoon to discuss a debt that I was paying each month because I recently had the debt card we were using to make auto pays compromised. I spoke with three reps XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I wanted to just move the XXXX pmt to XX/XX/XXXX since I was unable to pay the full amount. XXXX XXXX told me I couldnt change the payment plan because they need a payment for XXXX. I ended that call and received a call back from the other rep XXXX XXXX who said she was returning a call that dropped and after I told her what I needed to do with the acct she told me that I can not dictate my own debt and they will see me in court and hung up. I called back and spoke with a compliance supervisor by the name of XXXX XXXX. XXXX did take the time to listen to my situation and helped me get to a resolution that both of us found reasonable. She said the rep would be reprimanded for threatening me with legal actions. I Felt threatened when I was told I would be sued over trying to make payments on an account Ive been paying since it got moved to their company. XXXX did help me feel more at ease but I still dont like the practices that company is training to their employees, because who knows how many people they tell that on a daily bases and actually get to pay with the deceiving collection tactics.

Complaint What Happened	Atlantic Revovery Solutions has repeatedly called my family members and harassed me over a debt that I do not owe. I contacted the original creditor in the situation and they said that none of my personal information I provided them matches what that had on file. They said I was most likely a victim of identity theft. They also said that the account was closed at XXXX balance and that I should report Atlantic Recovery Solutions to the credit bureau. I want to make sure moving forward that this account that was not mine isnt going to be tied to me. The original Account was created with a different drivers license than was mine, a different email, and phone number, and a different address.
