Citation text line OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards which were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about September 25, 2013, and at times prior, employees were exposed to injuries while driving dump trucks because the employer did not ensure that the dump trucks were periodically inspected and that records of inspections were maintained to ensure that the trucks were in safe operating condition. On or about September 25, 2013, an employee was fatality wounded when he attempted to fix his truck's faulty brake system at the side of the road. The vehicle rolled across the street while he was underneath it.
